A project by Futurama Realty for a high-end traditional clothing chain with a new location in the retail district of Arlington Plaza in Parsippany, NJ. A gut rehabilitation was executed while dealing with custom made state-of-the-art interior construction products. Design & CM services involved with intervention of decorative components to essential building systems such as fire alarm, fire suppression, plumbing and Electrical systems. During the interior design process, a large roofing restoration/ replacement design was also undertaken per owner’s request as existing roofing was worn off and out of warranty. A site-specific plan of roofing replacement was chalked out to deal with existing unconventional roof accessories and stringent local fire codes. A multifold co-ordination plan was chalked to effectively intervene foreign imported construction assemblies/ fixtures with local building system components. Developed a system of construction operations to facilitate and enable local trade workers to execute the project. CM services included consistent assistance to client during design, bid and construction phases by constructability reviews to bring project within budget and time milestones.
