Facade Safety Redefined Manhattan, NY 10010 (2022)

122 East 25th Street Condominium

A seven-story mixed-use building with a penthouse, located in Manhattan’s Flatiron District, underwent façade restoration under Local Law 11 (Cycle 9B). Originally built in 1907 and altered in 1982, the building features limestone, granite, glazed bricks, and decorative metalwork. The project addressed unsafe conditions with terracotta unit replacement, brick repointing, parapet rebuilding, and window resealing. Metal paneling was replaced with weatherproof solutions. Close supervision and special inspections ensured compliance and a “SAFE” designation.
